Welcome to NUR325!
This course will challenge nurses to consider broad concepts related to domestic and foreign healthcare delivery systems and how available health care delivery affects those whom nurses serve. Concepts of interest include determinants of health, workforce, funding, history of healthcare delivery, ethics, regulation, evidence based practice, and the application of informatics to healthcare. Understanding concepts central to healthcare delivery systems and the associated effect on those whom nurses serve will better position nurses to meet the needs of the consumer and the systems in which they work.
